Harish Kant Soni is an experienced Engineering Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in software development. He is skilled in C++, Python, and OOP. Harish is a software engineer with a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree focused on Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Currently, Harish works as a Software Engineer II at Citrix. His previous work experience includes working as a Research and Development Engineer at Dassault Systèmes. At Dassault Systèmes, Harish worked as a software developer in SolidWorks Assembly team. His role was to add new functionalities in Dassault Systems’ new product “xDesign”, writing test cases and fixing bugs in existing commands. “xDesign” is the cloud version of SolidWorks 3D Modelling software. Harish's technology stack included C++ for server-side, JavaScript for client-side, and Git for SCM. Harish has also worked as an Engineering Consultant at L&T Infrastructure Engineering Limited. During his tenure, he single-handedly developed a civil engineering desktop application for biaxial bending analysis of Reinforced Concrete Section using C++. He refined the GUI based on the user’s experience, developed algorithms to make the program more efficient, and incorporated the object-oriented programming model. The project included the generation of graphs and calculation reports. The clauses of IS456, IRS, and IRC were included in the project. Harish has a relevant experience of 5.27 years.
